Join Jay Stempin for Tai chi classes, a mind-body relaxation exercise for students new to Tai Chi. Promotes self-healing and, through daily practice, enhances internal strength and heightens wellness of mind, body, and spirit.
T'ai chi Ch'uan is an ancient internal art with origins in China It's a beautiful, gentle slow-motion meditative dance that can aid in healing many body ailments/injuries. Tai Chi improves circulation, blood flow, and emotional well being.
Daily practice lead to:
Improved posture, better flexibility, body alignment, balance, coordination
peace of mind, inner core strength, relaxation, and staying grounded.
T'ai Chi is for anyone between the ages of 14 and 114
T'ai Chi Class Structure
In each class, students will work on:
Posture and body alignment
Basic hand and foot movement/placement
Sequential Flow--weight transfer into single-weighted postures
Learning to coordinate gentle flow-movements from one posture into the next movement.
Soaking in the energies of the universal flow
